Day 18 – Comfort
“Therefore encourage one another with these words.” – 1 Thessalonians 4:18 The Lord will return. Christ has saved us by paying the penalty for our sins on the Cross and rising again from the dead for those who believe in Him.

“Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices.” – Colossians 3:9 As Christians, we know that when we lie, we are living out our “old self,” meaning life before Christ. Does that mean we will never lie after we have trusted in Christ?
