My God, My Rock

“I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.”

In a world of uncertainty, brokenness and trials, it is good to be reminded that our Lord is a rock. He does not change. He does not move. He is not discouraged. Nothing about our lives – past, present, future – comes as a surprise to Him. Today, be reminded of His faithfulness to His people. Be encouraged that in Him we can take refuge, comfort and peace.
