When the huge Lawson cattle station is left without a successor, rival factions in Australia see an opportunity to take control. The series was filmed throughout the Northern Territory and South Australia in locations so remote that they are almost uninhabited, let alone shown on screen.
I read some of the reviews here and had to give my opinion because people might be missing out on a fantastic series
Sites include the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park (with special permission from the traditional owners) and Tipperary Station, a real working cattle station so big it has its own airfield and school. Some people might just expect too much from these shows, but if you’re willing to spend a few hours watching great performances by great characters (they don’t have to be popular), there’s plenty of stories to keep you going, drama, violence, thrills, scenery and escape from the city life, then don’t miss it.
See each area for its strengths
Don’t watch it to compare it to other programs. Fascinating from the beginning and the emotion does not end until the last scene.
