“There is none like you among the gods, O Lord, nor are there any works like yours. All the nations you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name. For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are God. Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.” – Psalm 86:8-11
I know these verses to be true. I believe them. There is none like our God. There is none more faithful, and able to do amazing works. I’ve seen His works. I’ve received His blessings when it did not seem possible. And yet often times, like Israel, I stop looking to Him, I start looking at the mess around me and I begin to forget how amazing and faithful He is.
Perhaps this is why David wrote, “Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth.” We need constant reminding and teaching on the faithful and amazing way of the Lord so that we will be encouraged to walk in it.
PRAYER THIS WEEK: that we would be reminded of the way of the Lord, that He is faithful and there is none like Him, and that we would walk in His truth.
