I can’t even begin to describe what a wonderful daddy Mike has become over the last 3 years. I always knew that he would be a loving, playful dad but he has completely gone above and beyond any expectation that I could have ever prayed or asked for. I am so blessed by and thankful for the man he is and is always striving to become.
- Thank you for always praying for our children’s salvation and for their hearts to be open and receptive to Jesus. As Christian parents, our goal should be to raise our children to love and serve Jesus but we cannot do it on our own. We need to fervently pray Jesus to call them to Himself (Matthew 19:13–15) and for them to be receptive to His call (2 Peter 3:9).
- Thank you for raising our children based on biblical truths and disciplines. You are always striving to teach and discipline our children based on what the Bible says and how best to shepherd their hearts to be open and receptive to ultimately God’s discipline and truths. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9)
- Thank you for showing compassion to our children and not provoking them to anger. You are always striving to not lose your cool with our kids and always trying to train them and looking for the teachable moments. (Ephesians 6:4 and Proverbs 22:6)
Thank you for being you! You truly are such an amazing example to our children and to others on how to be a man striving to know Jesus, and to love others the way He loves us! I know you aren’t perfect and you fail at times, but your heart truly seeks to raise our children to love Christ first and foremost, to love others, and to serve those around us in need.
Thank you for being such a great example! I couldn’t have prayed for a better daddy for our kids!
