Week in Review

Here’s a recap of blog posts you may have missed this week:

Kent Brantly’s Remarks From Leaving Hospital – It’s awesome to hear what Kent had to say after recovering from the hospital and leaving. “I prayed that God would help me be faithful even in my illness and that in my life, even in my death, he would be glorified.”

Seven Warnings For Church Leaders Who Use Social Media – Thom Rainer discusses how social media can be an effective tool, but to use caution and wisdom in regards to what is posted, how it could be misunderstood, to remember it’s permanent, and is it being used best for the glory of God. Great post!

Things That Will Weaken Your Leadership Effectiveness – Whether it’s distractions, fear, or a lack of discipline, Dave Kraft talks through different things that can weaken leadership if we are not careful.

Adult Women Are Now The Major Users Of Video Games – Women age 18 or older represent a significantly greater portion of the game-playing population (36%) than boys age 18 or younger (17%). That’s incredible to know how the culture is shifting in this regard.

Al Mohler: It’s Not Enough To Have Good Theology – You Also Need To Know How To Lead – What happens often is that leaders get so caught up in their studies and theology, that they forget the people they are leading and the whole reason they are there. Great word from Al Mohler!
