“To have lawsuits at all with one another is already a defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded?” – 1 Corinthians 6:7
Who really wins in the midst of a lawsuit? Why do you suppose Paul is saying this to the Church and why is it not a way for a Christian to act? Where is the grace and peace coming from the Christian towards one another if they are filing lawsuits?
To show grace towards someone means for it to be undeserving. Otherwise, it is not grace. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ which when He died on the Cross for us, we were and still are totally undeserving of that grace.
For today, who can you show grace to and not sue? Instead of thinking in terms of filing a lawsuit, why not think in terms of showing grace?
